Garment Specifications
  • All our made to measure motorcycle clothing is manufactured from top quality cowhide with a thickness of between 1.3mm and 1.5mm. Double leather and padding is machined into all vulnerable areas, i.e. knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and backside.
  • Seam strength is assured as double stitching comes as standard, with triple stitching in stress and impact areas.
  • All garments are available with C.E approved body armour positioned to cover hips, knees, shoulders, elbows and the back. Body armour fits into pockets inside the lining of the garments.
  • A choice of polycotton or airtex linings are available. These can either be stitched into the garment, or, at an additional cost removable linings can be supplied.
  • A choice of stud or Velcro fastening belts, position of belt loops, knee sliders, pockets etc. are available on all our custom made garments.
  • On two piece leathers a full zip enables both garments to be zipped fully together. If’ just ordering trousers we can machine the other half of the zip into your existing jacket.
Oversize Surcharge
In common with other manufacturers we apply a material surcharge where waist or hip size exceeds a certain size.
This scale is indicated in the table below.

    • We aim to cornplete your order within approximately 5 weeks from the date the order was placed .
    • We provide a full and personal measuring service with a preliminary fitting of your order within 4 weeks .
    • All zips and stitching are fully guaranteed for 5 years.
    • We offer a full maintenance, repair and alteration service on all our garments and any others that you may have.
    • All garments can be delivered to either you home or work address.

    BTK 5 As BTK 1 . Race style with elasticated panels in sides & lower back. £255.00 + p&p
    BTK 2 Mandarin collar, double zip front, fully elasticated back panel and side panels. Double leather and padding on shoulders and elbows. Four outside pockets . Two inside pockets velcro, zip or open fastening. Colour trim is an optional extra. £250.00 + p&p
    BTK 3 The ever popular traditional bike jacket with stud collar and lapels. Also available with fringing and body armour. £215.00 + p&p
    BTK 6 As BTK 2 with mandarin collar and double zip front. Alternative stitching detail. Padding on top front & top of shoulders £250.00 + p&p

    Style 3 The style 3 trouser comes with padding and double leather on both hips and knees as standard along with a double leather seat. Elasticated hips, knees and back panel Two front zip pockets Individual options available - body armour, front belt, lining etc £205.00 + p&p
    Style 4 Padding and double leather on both hips and knees comes as standard. Elasticated waist band, elasticated back and knees, perforated leather behind knee. Stretch calf, large ankle zips. Individual options available body armour, front belt (buckle or Velcro), lining, colour trim etc all available at additional cost £195.00 + p&p
    Style 5 The Style 5 Trouser makes excellent 2 piece suit with any of the BTK Jackets. - Full zip fitted as standard. Elasticated waist band, Elasticated back and knees, Perforated leather behind knee, Stretch Calf, Large ankle zips.     Classic Jean Style Available in both thicker hides for motorcycle wear and in a finer skin for a fashion look Belt loops Dual stud fastening Individual options available - body armour, front belt, lining etc £170.00 + p&p

    Measuring & Ordering
    At present BTK manufacture two styles of salopettes, both are fully lined and available with body armour. Being a made to measure garment it is possible to make both styles with either a high or low cut front bib . Body armour available on hip, knee or shin.

    BTK's plain black leather motorcycle suit has proved very successful, but when it comes to manufacturing an individual made to measure suit we like to work with our customers to prduce a completely individual garment. From your own design or sketch we can produce a one off garment to your specifications. Alternatively, we can design a suit for you.

    C.E. APPROVED BODY ARMOUR . (fits into pockets inside the lining of the garment) All of our garments are constructed with double leather and padding on impact areas as standard:
    Trousers: hips, knees & seat (style 3 only). Jackets: elbows & shoulders. To further reduce the risk of serious injury in case of accident we strongly recommend that all garments purchased should be fitted with body armour. We only use CE approved body armour in our manufacturing process which gives a high level of shock absorbency combined with comfort and flexibility for the wearer.
